Biography - Tom Edrington
Mr. Edrington was a member of the Board of Directors of the USTA and CEO of a US top 20 size full service (local, long distance, yellow pages, wireless) communications company. He retired from Pacific Bell as Vice President responsible for technology planning, product introduction standards, and network strategy. While at Pacific Bell Mr. Edrington lead the design and trails of Project Victoria, the first operational voice and data digital loop service for information access. As Vice President of Engineering for Raynet Mr. Edrington produced the first large customer deployed fiber optic PON system for the loop. Examples of Acting CEO start-up roles include a company designing and building a 1.6 terabit fiber optic transmission system and a mid-call service company producing a voice-actuated trigger technology system for on the fly mid-call contextual data acquisition from a wireline or wireless call voice call.
