Biography - Bob Schramm
Bob is a seasoned operating executive with strong P & L experience and substantial background in sales, marketing, strategic development, and leadership of high growth technology companies, both established, and start-up companies. Bob has lead organizations of 15 to 300 people in the pursuit of outstanding performance, in difficult economies, technological transitions, and organizational turnarounds. Bob has hands on experience managing introduction of technologies including hardware, software, and Internet e-commerce solutions. He also has multi-channel management experience solving distribution issues world-wide and focusing resources based on a sales model that combined both direct and indirect channels, resulting in revenue growth of over 40% per year, and leading to an IPO. As President/COO of a small software company with its primary focus of developing middleware solutions presented a compelling business plan to IBM and became a premier and primary partner with IBM in database access solutions.
