Biography - Serge-Paul Carrasco

Serge-Paul has a successful track record, from product concept through launch and market penetration, with optical transport and switching (Metro and PONs), IP routers, Gigabit Ethernet switches, Java Telephony, network management and security products.

He had experience with leading Equipment Vendors, Service Providers and Fortune 1000 enterprise networks both in the US and in Europe. His expertise includes strategic and tactical marketing both inbound and outbound.

Serge-Paul is the Founder and a Partner of Carrasco & Associates. He was one of the Founders and VP of Marketing at NetFly Communications, a start-up developing network performance solutions. He was Director of Product Management at MAYAN Networks and held Product Line Management and Product Management positions at Sun Microsystems, 3Com and Raynet (acquired by Ericsson).

Prior to become a marketer, Serge-Paul worked in England in Engineering on ISDN systems for STC/ICL (acquired by Bell Northern Research now Nortel Networks) and in France in Manufacturing of X.25 equipment for Sagem.

Serge-Paul graduated with an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, an MS in Computer Science from Sup’Aero (France) and a BS in Industrial Engineering from ICAM (France).
