Biography - Carmen Genovese
Prior to joining Littlefeet, Carmen founded, managed and sold Stache-IT, developer of a data storage virtualization and security appliance. Before that, he served as Vice President of Operations for SCS Corporation, a developer of RF identification products, increasing throughput by 300% while reducing costs by over 40%. During his tenure as Vice President of Operations at Primary Access, a 3Com acquired telecommunications company; Carmen directed the rapid ramp-up from $12 million run rate to $150 run rate over a two-year period. He also served as CEO of TechnaVision Inc, which produced a system for casting prescription-ready ophthalmic lenses in a doctor's office. As Vice President of Operations and Engineering at Sutter Corporation he was responsible for taking four orthopedic product lines from concept to market and delivering 700% growth before Smith Labs acquired the Company. Under his direction as Director of Vital Signs Development and Operations, IVAC's new products contributed to a 35% compounded growth over four years. Carmen served on the technical boards of Mayan Networks and Oridean Inc. Carmen holds
a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. He also pursued
a M.S. in Engineering Management at UCLA and is a graduate of the Executive
Management Program at Stanford University. |
